Manual seatbelts

did anyones wagon come with manual seatbelts?
i have the automatic but found one with the manual and i was thinkin i might get all the parts from its seatbelt setup and put in my wagon so if i switch seats in the future i wont have to worry bout the automatic stuff especially the big seatbelt case in the center
if anyone else has done this let me know
the trim is from an 88 or 89 and i have a 90

Think its been covered. I don't recall it 100% but I believe you have to weld in bolts in order to put them in the 90-91 Wagons.

manual belts will NOT bolt into a wagon with the auto-belts. it requires immense custom fabrication to get them to work (cutting, welding, etc..), and honestly its a bit too dangerous to mess with something like that.

This is not what I wanted to hear...
Why couldn't it be like late 80's Volkswagen where they have the holes still there on the B pillar and all you have to do is bolt on the manual belts...bleh.
  • Roll bar + FIA seat + 5 point.
