New Guy from CO

Hey everyone on HCW. Names Randal, from CO. I have been into hondas long before I could even drive. My unlce had a 91 Si back in the mid 90s and I was always out in the garage with him. I have had my share of Hondas in the little time I have been in the scene, if you want to call it that. Though I have had a 92 hatch to a 91 teg. I fell inlove with the wagon. I traded my 91 Miata for one as soon as I could get ahold of a decent one. When I got picked it up, It already had some stuff done to it. Im really not into buying other people projects, but I couldnt not have this one. It already was lowered on Tikico shocks and ebay coilovers. Had Drag r26 wheels, and a b20 swap. It looked great but wasnt my own. So I recently sold the wheels and put on some steelies(for now). Replacing the ls trany with a b16 trans. Removing the tint. Found a mint condition stock radio and installed it. Works great. For the future my plans are to get rt4wd stock wagon wheels and get them powder coated a darker green, get it wired to 0db2 and get it tuned with s300, and any other little thing that comes up. Glad to see that the wagon has such a following. Everyone around my area just dosent get it.

Oh and thanks in advance for any help I get because I'm sure I'll have many questions.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you have some big plans in store. Just one question, why OBD2?

Because I have a b20 swap and right now its running as if it was an ls teg. LS ecu and odb0. So I want to convert it to odb2 so I can run a b20 ecu. That way the motor is running with the right computer. If I'm wrong please lmk. Thanks,

Im from Greeley Co. About an hour out of Denver. I would be so down for the meet and greet. As soon as my wagon is road worthy again. lol
  • Greets!

I am in AR now, but I retired out of the AF Academy in the Springs and recently lived in Parker. Will be moving back to Parker within the next year.

    Good luck with the ride!

Ok I see what you want to do now. I just think going to OBD2 is like taking a step backwards in terms of performance upgrades. OBD1 is much more tuner friendly but if can make the OBD2 ecu do what you need it to then that's cool too. Anyway, good luck with the project.
