How to remove the radio on a 87 wagon and flasher issue

Hi, maybe it's a stupid question, but I don't really know how to remove the radio on my car. It's from a 91-92 accord or civic, something like that, and I need the serial number to retreive the code (unplugged the battery and I can't use the radio now). So do I have to remove the whole lower dash trim (it's just one big piece apparently, the black part)? Because I ried to pull and it doesn't move, and I tried to remove the cliamte control button but they look glued well. Any idea?
It's a wagon 87, sorry for the dirty interior.

Also my left hand side flasher is blinking way too fast, but both front and rear lights are working. Is is it juste a fuse or something?

There are two screws that go straight up into a tab that comes off the back of the radio. The dashboard has two holes where you can stick a screwdriver up and unscrew them. One should be underneath the dashboard, below the cigarette lighter. For the other, take the ashtray out and the frame that it mounts to, and you'll see the hole.

Did you replace the bulbs with lower power consumption bulbs? That will do it. I know with my integra there are corner lights and bumper turn signals so if one of those goes out it will make it flash faster.
  • Love the cup holder! looks like the one I have in my Wagovan! lol
