Love from austin tx.

hey hows it going all?
well first of all i have a baby blue 325xxx mile 1989 wagon with a single zc swap 65xxx mile.
still dpfi though :(
kyb struts with skunk2 springs
volvo front lip
gunmetal integra SE rims with falken azenis. completely unnecessary but mean looking.
and *say what?* skunk2 type r shift knob. lol

heres the deal. im replacing my clutch. just bought a oem replacement. and i found that my clutch pedal assembly is cracked and not doing anything. i have searched the forums and i dont believe anyone has specified which other model pedals are compatible with our wagons?
and for the life of me i cant find a junk yard here in the central austin area with a wagon.
so if anyone has any information on this please help. or can i just have it welded?
id like to meet some austin wagoneers anyways so if anyone knows of a parts wagon or parts in general let me know. thank you very much.
good days.

Welcome aboard! The pedal assembly is wagon specific, though some folks have made sedan or hatch pedals work. It can be welded, in fact I reinforce them before installation to prevent breakage.

Just remove the whole enchilada, then fix it- it'll be obvious what goes where.

    Cool thank you very much.
I wonder how they made the sedan and hatch ones work.... Yeah I figured it'd be pretty self explanitory ones i got under there. I'll probably just weld it and have it reinforced with some brackets or something.

SO how does you zc swap with the dpfi act?
  • awreckawreck Band Wagon
Surprisingly well. I can tell that it feels choked it some of the rev range but it does a lot better than I expected. Even just rolling onto 5 gear on the highway is good. But still I am going mpfi soon. I know it will be worth it.
  • enter the marketplace, dunno what's there...

ask adm.iral Hayds if in doubt...

    peace...

Yeah I dont know if I should do my own mpfi swap or if I should just buy the rywire kit. I need to go to OBD1 anyways but I dont know if it's worth the 300 bucks.

Yeah I thought about the rywire when I first got the car about a month ago. But i feel like I'd appreciate it so much more if I do it (mess up repeatedly then finally get it right) myself you know? I think it will be worth it. Plus I already have a p06 ecu and Im decent with wiring. Why not? But it's not in my budget for at least a month. Me being 18 years old and in college. Lol. Yay.

I had a civic si hatch with a a6/y8 obd1 and I beat stock gsr's. Idc about that aspect really but I did find it very fun to wreck dohcs with a single. Lol.
  • Welcome . Nice wagon .

Yeah, hopefully I'll be ballin when I get it all together.
  • awreckawreck Band Wagon
Well I got the pedal assembly fixed. It was broken bad. But I put two plates in there an reinforced it. Not it feels great. And it solved another problem: my clutch cable was adjusted too tight to compensate for the broken pedal and was making my clutch slip. Now it's perfect and my clutch acts great no slippage. Thanks much bam.
