  • I think your car is broken and u should sell it to me....either that or it could be a loose relay or connection somewhere, but just all the wiring....good luck

Try taking off the steering column cover that is behind the steering wheel, and then unplug the electrical connector(s) that go into the back of the headlight switch housing. If you're lights then turn off, I would guess that the switch is broken on the inside somehow. If not, I'd unhook the negative battery cable at least until you can figure something else out.

    good luck!

Unplug the head lamp relay and swap it out with another one from a properly working similar car. It may have just got stuck in the "on" position due to bad/burned contacts. It is also possible the contacts in the headlamp switch for the low beam circuit may be bad. Do you have a circuit tester or a digital volts/ohm meter to do any testing with? If not, try the relay first and get back to us.

The Wgn has NO hdlite relay.Honda reduced the weight by making it part of the switch.
udubrx7 & ogwagon are right it's the hdlite switch.

Digging up an old thread, but I have incountered the same problem today. Headlights won't turn off! Parking lights will, but headlights stay on. I pulled the fuses for now cause' I had to go to class and didn't have time to fool with it. Anyone ever figure out what is causing this?
