just go to autolumination.com and get 3 #194 bulbs their the same that go in the corner lights and assuming you just want to change the color of the whiteish yellowish rmp and spedo lights, get 3 #24 bulbs of what ever color for both 194 and 24 you want the cluster to look like.
then just remove the cluster by four screws one under the left bottome of the steering wheel and one on the right side the the two in the back(you have to pop out the covers)
then unglug 3 plugs that attach it from the back.
and just place them in the brown twist off bulb housings.
heres a picture of where the brown ones are that you replace.
194 goes in the big ones
and 24 in the small ones.
Not responsible if you mess anything up while doing this.

i went and checked out that site. there are numerous different kinds of 194. want i wanna do is change those lights to a bright red. also how would i do that center dash lights?
oh sorry its #74 bulbs
and you could use paint but your bulbs might explode
bit hey if you like to take risks try it out.
i never colored them before but i hear people use permanent markers or some type of spray paint.
I tried to change the dashboard lights in my '89 wagon to orange a while back to match a Prelude CD player I got. The instrument cluster was easy enough, since you just have to replace the 168/194 bulbs, but the climate control panel has a light blue layer on the back of the plastic that turns the yellowish light white. I about ruined the panel by trying to pull off the plastic strips with the icons on them. The defroster button is the same way. It has a blue plastic piece to color the light. I don't know if Honda ever made the clock in any different colors.
yeah i paid $15 shipped for some xenon white lights to make the cluster pure white
nice, i wanna go with a bright red to match the cd player.
i wanted to do the same but with amber but i dont like the look of it so im just going hard white not that piss white color that come in it and its going to be more brighter

do you by chance have a write up of how to step by step take out the cluster and possibly the center dash???
ebay is the cheapest and easyest way to find what you want, i did the l.e.d convertion a while back on my wagon, just used (Car Wedge Coner Light Bulb Lamp for Car T10 168 194)or the biger bulbs and i used (T5 286 LED CAR Dashboard Lights Bulbs)
VERY SMALL BULBS ON TOP OF THE CLUSTER
YOU HAVE TO GET CRATIVE AND TAKE ONE OF THE SMALL BULBS APART AND STUFF IT IN THERE LOL (THATS WHAT I DID,WORK GREAT!!!)

i will write it once i get my new bulbs in the mail.
pic by pic with instructions aswell as before after pics.
just wait a while their already on their way to my house. 8)
Ok so this is pretty simple when you do it once.
But be carefull with the wiring on the back you can easily fuck it up and have to get a new one.
1st. Take off the four screws that hold the cover on. i marked them in red. Two near under the steering wheel and pop two of those plastic caps behind the cover and unscrew those. And before you take the cover off remove the defrost and dash dimmer switch connections wich is just push tab and pull off.
2nd. Unscrew four more screw 2 on each side of the cluster.
3rd. Ok before you take of the cluster carefully remove the 3 harnesses on the back of the cluster. just push on each ones tab and they slide out. After take out the cluster.
4rd. Ok now your cluster is out and change witch ever bulbs you bought and put them back and re install. Then your done.
If you have any questions just ask. I might know the answer.
: Not realiable if something goes wrong with the process :

Hey isnt the instrument cluster filled with colored plastic? I might have looked at it wrong but i didn't think bulbs would totally change the color. Anyone have a picture with it finished? This could be an awesome modification!
