Just picked up an '89 RT4WD Wagon on Friday. Stock, decent shape, paint was pretty faded, interior is decent, few little rust bubbles and a couple minor dents.

So far I'm absolutely in love with the car, runs like a champ.

Picture time...

After washing, buffing and waxing.

Naturally I wasn't paying attention while I was buffing and got rubbing compound on the trim in quite a few places. Have a can of trim paint, probably fix that right up.

Did a little offroading in it the other day http://www.hondacivicwagon.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8203

Yeah, one of my favorite things about living in Trinidad (Humboldt County) is the coastline.

Thanks, I'd say it looks a bit better in those last a few pictures than it does in person. Still a HUGE improvement, I'm very happy with it.
  • Aren't there some Humbolt squid that are like killer, giant squid or something? Sorry, I watch a lot of animal planet.

Humboldt squid do have a reputation for being vicious, especially in Mexico.

Thanks. No shots of Trinidad Head in The Goonies, I'm pretty sure it was filmed somewhere in Oregon.
  • Yep. Goonies was filmed in the great northwest. Astoria, Oregon to be exact.
