Hello!

So far I've found "tiny!" and "OEMsize but still small" oil filters via the index books. Is there a substantially larger oil filter available that will still fit into the D15B2? There's 2+ inches or more available and still enough room to clear the firewall...
Here's a pic, yes, I know fram are crap, but it's the largest one I have found...

The irony is my mom's 99 CR-V (B20Z engine) takes the same oil filters... Anybody out there found a larger filter? I'm assuming there's got to be something out there. And hell, larger means more area to grab on to! (We all know how fun it is getting in there... I'm still trying to grow a second elbow into my forearm and extra opposable thumb after my pinky, but it's not working...)
Ideally I'm switching to WIX filters once I find one that's not "tiny".
I know it's 20x1.5mm threading, and the gasket is 2.475" OD and .3" "wide"... Nominal diameter is 3.25" but I think I can go as high as 3.75 or even 4.0 providing the gasket mating surface matches. Height I can go to probably 5.75 inches. OEM is 3 it seems."
Approaching 180K miles now, still going strong!

Ok, so the consensus is the s2000 filter is bigger, except in the aftermarket books they all cross-reference to the same filter for the D15B2 and B20Z. Including Wix.
