Depends on which EDM cluster you're using. If it's from a Civic/CRX with a B16A (tach goes to 9,500 rpm), you need to change to the electronic VSS from a 92-up USDM car, as the cable VSS from our Wagons has nowhere to feed into the EF/VTi cluster. I'm pretty sure there are some wiring differences as well. It's been a while, but it's the same wiring as installing in any other USDM 88-91 car. If it's from a regular non-Vtec car, then it should be the same.

not specifically true
the siR/EF8/EF9 JDM models have VSS, UK model VT/EE8/EE9 have cable operation.
EDM clusters have different electronics on the back, you will have to swap out that electrical plate thing on the back with your stock one in order for all the heads-up warning light thingies in the cluster to work properly.
very easy
Didn't know that. Thanks for the correction. Is the EE8 and EE9 DOHC Vtec?
yep
exactly the same apart from rear bumpers, spoiler looks wise. JDM (EF8/9) have bronze tinted glass, which might be thinner too i heard. no goodies like PAS, air con/climate control, foldies... and minor interior differences on the seats and door cards. and the JDM versions have different ECU and a knock sensor which gives it that extra few horses, and different ratio Y1 gearbox, whereas UK (EE8/9) models have the Y2.
