New guy from MN

I just bought this 89 Wagon with a blowen motor. I was going to just throw a motor in it and sell it to make a few bucks. When I went to pick it up it was in better shape than I thought. It has a little surface rust but no holes. My new plan is to keep it and drop a D16a6 motor with a small turbo and use it as my winter car and parts hauler( I drive a turbo S2000 in the summer). This is the only pic I have right now but will keep you posted on the upgrades.

I have been posting in the local(MN) websites WTB for a D16a6 or DOHC ZC motor and NOBODY has one. I would think all those Civic/CRX guys that swapped the B-series motors in their cars would have the old a6 motor laying around in their garage. I really want to stay OBD0 with this car. I guess I may have to look into buying a newer OBD1 or 2 motor and converting it back to OBD0.

Plan is to get a motor in the car and drive it until spring. Then, when I pull the S2k out of storage, I can do some mods on the Wagon. 8)

I wish you would have too. I ended up getting a z6 motor. Now I am going OBD1 with a chipped P28. That way when I install the turbo this spring I will be ready to go. 8)

S2k is my summer car. It is my daily driver when the snow is gone. The Wagon will be my winter car and parts hauler.You need something for those runs to the lumber yard and garden center.

I am currently driving an Audi A6 Quattro wagon for a winter car. Nice car but gets lousy gas mileage and repairs cost a fortune. The Civic Wagon will be replacing the Audi this spring.
