Dash light/Tail lights not working?

I have checked all the fuses, twice. Cant figure out what it is, the dash light goes in and out, but most of the time out. when the dash lights go out the tail lights dont work at night, but the brake lights do...

can anyone help me out? thanks

Here's how the power flows....Main box fuse #33....lite switch....fuse 8...splits to dash lite & tail lite....bulb...ground.
My guess is it's a prob between the fuse 33 & split.
