No Brake Light's on 88 CRX

So i'm having an issue w/ the brake lights turning on. Running lights work, bulbs are not blown, and no fuses are blown. Are bad brake pedal switches a common problem of this? Or does anyone have an idea? Thanks

Brake light switches. hmm never had a problem with mine and have been driving ef's for about 8 years now! But always had a problem with the rubber stopper for the brake light switch falling out! I would start by checking that. A quick fix is some glue and a penny! lol
  • If the rubber stopper falls out, won't that leave the brake lights on all the time?

Put a meter on the switch and see if it's still working. Or just change it - $12 or so.
