New to the group, pix of wagon after cleanup

I posted in the Member's Rides when I first picked up this 1989 DX wagon. It was fairly rough since the owner never did maintenance, not even an oil change. The owner didn't want to pay for repairs so she left at the shop which I take an '88 DX hatchback for maintenance. I noticed it sitting there and, although it was filthy, I mentioned I would like to find one like it. The owner let me know he wanted to get it out of his shop after a year of sitting there, so we struck a deal. The engine was rebuilt and he went through all the mechanicals, before selling it to me. I took it to an upholstery shop to get new carpet and front seats made. I followed up with more cleaning, Armor Alled the interior, and washed down the exterior. Still like to get the back seat reupholstered to match the front and get rid of the stains., although the material is fairly close. That leaves replacing the windshield for the inital stuff. Exterior paint, suspension, wheels, and other pipe dreams to come. At least, the car was pretty complete with nothing major missing. 'Been looking for a few years to have another wagon. Had a 1988 Wagovan (same almond color as this one) and a 1988 4WD wagon in blue.
I have been following this forum for some time and was glad to find a cult that appreciates a very versatile vehicle. Always a sports car and small sedan fan, so the utility of these wagons is a nice compliment to good handling and decent performance. Not to be too blasphemous, but the wagon is as fun to drive as an old MGB or other sports car, much more reliable, and can also haul a load. Still a good time to get one since parts are still around, unlike my old fav, the Datsun 510. They are getting hard to find and prices are outrageous.
Enough rambling, here's some pics taken today while it wasn't raining, for a change, in Puddle Town:

Just want to add that this is a great group of wagonuts. Once you get the bug for these cars, it's like malaria. You can never get cured, you just have to feed it. I can speak with some experience, having owned seven 4th generation Civics, two of which were wagons. Looking ahead to making more progress on my project here after the holidays on the wagon and seeing more of the nice work other owners here put into their machines.
The difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys.
I wish mine was that clean!
What made you decide to redo the wagon seats rather than replacing with an Si type seat which has a little more bolster?
it looks neat with the mountains in the background lol
I finally located this cream '89 DX wagon and it was pretty complete with critical parts I wanted to have. The interior on this car was a real pit, but I bit the bullet and totally douched out the interior with new carpets and upholstery. 'Just wanted to make this an upgraded wagon with a few tweaks. I spent just over $1000 for the work, but it was money well spent. Besides the great feedback from the group, I get a lot of comments on the car. I even get notes on the iwndshield and outright inquiries if I would be interested in selling. The same thing happens with our 1991 Civic DX hatchback that has only 88k on the odometer. Now I have to get the air conditioning functioning, tweak the suspension, and bodywork/paint. It's good to have this forum for reference and support in keeping a great cult car on the road. There isn't anything else like this on the road today.
