Hello from Utah
Jim2
Band Wagon
Hi everyone. I've been on the site for a while but hadn't introduced myself. I bought my 90 wagon from a friend when gas prices got crazy last year kind of as a joke. As all of you know these cars very addicting. Well a year later I'm busy "restoring" this car. I've just about finished painting it with a roller and a can of yellow rustoleum. I've replaced most of the rubber pieces in the front suspension, added ebay coilovers and KYB shocks, lowering it about 2". It has some nice lower control arms that cost 25% of the purchase price of the wagon.
I found some nice acura buckets for the front and tried 3 times to get a new headliner to stick to the panel. I've now given up on that and just removed the whole thing. Saves some weight.
The next step is to swap a new motor in, but I'm completely paralyzed by the information out there. I'm leaning toward a ZC OBD 0 motor, but I still can't grasp how much other stuff I need for the swap. I pretty much just want a motor with a bit more power that doesn't run 50% on oil.
