Dear fellow red wagon owner on Rt 80 West in NJ...

I didn't mean to alarm you when I pulled up along side you in the fast lane. I got really excited at the fact that I saw another wagon on the road. The fact that you were going the same way and had what looked to me like a 91 wagon made it even better. On the very rare occasion I do see another wagon in my travels to and from work, it's usually going in the opposite direction.

Don't be alarmed that I recognized the distinctive wagon taillights, in the rain on a dark evening, 6 car lengths ahead of me in the fast lane. I just notice these kinda things. I just had to catch up to make sure I was indeed seeing another wagon. And once I caught up to you and pulled up along side, I was nodding my head in a "Hey fellow wagon owner, nice car! wassup?" and not in a "Hey dude, just checkin you out" or in a "Hey, let's race" kinda way.

I also noticed you had PA plates (or plate since we PA residents only need a rear plate) and took exit #4 to Portland. Or maybe you were hungry and wanted to go to Taco Bell/Pizza Hut at that truck stop. Either way, hope to see you around again. Maybe we can have a mini meet sometime? I'm in the Poconos. My wagon's rusted to hell and not as nice as yours with your white aftermarket rims but I love it!

Hope to see you around!

Sincerely,

progress aka James

PS: I wasn't stalking you. Really!

PSS: Had to get this off my chest and thought I'd post it up here as my wife just looked at me funny when I told her what happened on my way home. I just know you guys (and gals) would understand!

  • HA HA Yeah you aren't stalking

I would have done the same thing. I haven't seen a wagon here in Germany anywhere near me in the past 3 years.
