Stock wheels vs. VX wheels

I have an 88 rt4wd. I have stock 14 inch wheels on it now, but I need new tires. I also have a set of vx wheels that also need tires. I need some advice. What would you guys prefer? I'm leaning toward the vx wheels just because there are a few at the junk yard and I could also have a spare.

VX wheels with 175/70-13 tires. That's the tire size I'm running on my wagon right now, but with OEM steelies. VX wheels should be much lighter.

I love HX/VX rims. I've had them on a few different Hondas over the year.
