may be buying an 89 RT4WD... questions

I might be buying my neighbor's 89RT wagon. It's sweet, but needs a bit of love. It's got a rear main leak, needs a clutch, needs a speedo head and cable. The biggest thing is that it's missing cruise control, which is pretty much required for me. I'm fine with doing the maintainance stuff, but the cruise I don't know about. Can I swap another 88-91 cruise, or does it need to be a RT cruise system? Who's done this before? It'll pretty much decide if I buy it or not. Any help would be awesome.

    they didnt come with cruise control in the US, that i know of...

    i bought my wagon already installed with an aftermarket cruise control setup.

    I would like to add cruise to mine as well. Wagondriver on here had real Honda cc on his last car, so I know it can be done.

    we certainly do. Even an aftermarket setup that works well would be fine. It's cold out this morning so I'm lazy, but I'll get some pictures up soon.

    I'm coming back to the wagons and will be installing CC into the new wagons I'll have to do a writeup on installing it
