    Sales?

I've been a bartender/manager for the last 10+ years... trying to transition into something else. Was planning to transfer to a Melting Pot (where I currently work) in Phoenix, but decided I'm done being on the front line of the restaurant business. Still probably move to Phoenix. But gotta find a job first...

Uh oh....he's going back of the house on us...watch out. Ha ha, just playin, I put my years in behind the apron and bar. I miss it a lot sometimes. It's more a lifestyle than a job at times, but it matched up with my schedule and personality well. There's always something to do, someone to hang out/drink with when you live the restaurant life.

Loving those pictures!!! I wish I could shoot this thing, I already have a plan for what I'd do in my head and it would involve some air time!
  • bam-bambam-bam Council Member
Airtime, yeah! I need to go at least as high as that iconic WagonAttack 2 shot.

Now that I've safely made the trip to IA and back, it's time to see what this rig will do. RBWdriven has some pretty good video gear...

    Bam i slowed down..!!
    i honestly did
my lady was saying dont break his car .. dont break his car the entire ride ....
i wish that entire lil ride of mine was on camera ....
    i had to much fun..!!

if it would of been Scrappy i might of tried to land n the pool since i wasnt driving him home ....

Goldie doesnt ride as stiff as Scrappy in my opinion ...
im thinking its the spring rate for the heavier accord and integra compared to the rt4wd that you have (much smoother comfortable ride ... )
  • bam-bambam-bam Council Member
Heck, we were in a good place to break it, right? Right in front of Chaife's shop:encouragement: It did come home with some steering/alignment issues...

You have to remember that my car is on stock springs, with most of the lift being body lift, plus big cushy tires.

the tires are what give it a soft ride. Jane is super smooth on my bigger winterforces. i put some smaller wheels and tires on for a while and it was pretty bumpy ride.

i guess your right.. was no better spot to break something but man im not trying to be in the dog house for breaking Goldie ...
    i gotta let u break him @ Wago~Palooza...!
i know your gonna try that jump u took Cnote up .... but @ a bit more speed with that supercharger screaming
im hoping Chaife brings that rolling garage with all his tools ..!! JUST N CASE ..!!

well you and i have same spring strut set up ...!!!
so im hoping my new rims and tires smooth out my ride from those small snow tires ...

Bam is right. I seen those tires leave planet earth. :devilish: and I had it side crawlin' in boost, if it were to break... (this would be the PERFECT place.)
and it would have happen while I had those axles all bound up... :p 4WD burn outs on 30's stuck to sun softened pavement is pretty extreme itself..
I was more than impressed! thanks for the opportunity!! I will get those pictures from Nate and post them soon. Been busy with Scrappy.
Glad you and Pebbles came out!
  • bam-bambam-bam Council Member
We enjoyed it, thanks again for hosting. Our thanks to Glenn, too.

I won't be doing much to Fool'sGold for awhile, I was postponing lots of chores in the push to get ready for IA. Pebbles has been patiently waiting for me to replace the decking on her boat, and I've been telling her "after the show!"

Then to add to that the short-sale that we've been waiting on finally closed last week the day before we left for NC. So now I have several weeks of work on that house before it's ready. We've been over there working until 10 every night this week.

I think I've found the tire carrier I'm going to pony the cash up for. Maybe something you'd be interested in?

I dunno. I want to use the hitch. Hmm.

Had to haul a piece of steel today for the new house

Just bungeed it to the rack!

They make an offset bracket that puts it on the drivers side of the hitch so you can retain the use of the receiver.
  • just read through this thread from page 1 to 41.. this thing is fkn SICK! the work you do is amazing! if im ever in the area with my wagon ill definately make sure i visit!

it kind of reminds me of a miniature monster truck.. kind of like the toys i used to play with as a kid haha.. i love this thing!!

    Parked at work:

It articulates fairly well. Would be better without rhe front swaybar, but that makes it squirrely on the road.

Mini- mini meet today at TerminusVox' place. Needed to work on his blue waggy a bit, and coincidentally it's his son's birthday! Had a nice overdue visit.

Update for you lifted wagonistas: i believe I've already used up a right front axle. You may remember that the first one failed on the dyno, less than 30 miles on it. That was a "new" chinese repro axle, I replaced it with a OE reman and it's been good 'til now. Recently I've heard it clicking again, I think the inner tri- pot joint. It's not as tolerant of abuse as the outer true CVs.

That's with only 1.5" of spring lift.

    ok Bam,
so thats the right front ...
any issues with the other 4 axles ..???

my left front reman from AZ split the inner boot behind motor all on its own ... couldnt think of any reason it would of done that .. (but i hope to get 2 front axles installed soon as i get Scrappy back on the road .)
  • bam-bambam-bam Council Member
I think it's the right front, haven't heard any others.
