She's ugly... (updated with Wagon Timeline)

Well after being on the prowl again for some quite some time, I finally found one up here worth picking up. I mainly got this as a hauler and may replace the wife's Civic down the road to get rid of car payment/full coverage. We'll see if we get to that point.
Took the CRX for a nice cruise yesterday about 2 hours each and picked her up. She's got 170k miles, and has been pulled behind an RV the majority of it's life. For the most part it's solid with plenty of surface rust. Lindsay drove it back and we had no issues...it drives great! This should be good for what we're looking for and should be a good excuse to learn body work. There is one thing I'm worried about that occurred then I got home though...
I've since washed the engine back, removed the front tow package after blasting my shins on it 5 times, resoldered the brake light wires (tons of splicing due to the tow harness), resoldered the fuel pump sender unit as it had wire buts which I hate, I'm in the middle of taking out all the interior to clean it and underneath as it smells.
Anyway, definitely needs some work, but it's a start!

great color, im sure you can work some magic!
It's for sale as well as the tow package. It's actually a full nose piece...never seen one like it before, I'm wondering if it was an OE optional piece?
hah, awesome. I didn't know the yr88 had a following of it's own like the y49?
haha. There's plenty of hope here...maybe too much!
Yup, the majority of it is all surface rust. I did find a couple deep spots, one on the rear driver's side door, and the other under the rear interior. Overall though pretty solid, and the underside is actually very clean.
So I've owned a couple pretty cool wagons, unfortunately for me that point of my life consisted of being a car whore and getting bored easily. I'm now at a stable point and wish I would have had the white and red again.
Anyway...first wagon...from Illinois and so damn clean.
Might look a little familiar...it's now all EDM'd out by wagodizzle. 8) Could not have gone to a better owner.
Got bored and got this one for the misses because at the time she didn't want to learn manual  ...
Only mods were the CRX wheels, bungee cord and sticker.
Then picked up a RT4WD and rocked it for the winter...
Only mods were repairs and EDM CRX struts/springs to replace the rusted/broke stockers.
This was the fleet for about a year...
Then we moved to South Carolina and had to consolidate so the blue and red wagons both found new owners. Red one went to rexman (shane), blue to a buddy in Michigan.
Kept my eyes open for a year in SC, and could never time it right. Not to mention the place we were staying had absolutely no room for another car (already had notices from the association ). So over 2 years without having a wagon, it feels great to be back in one....even if it is the roughest ones I've owned. Should be a fun project...
And now just a few of the CRX...
