My RT4WD EE

Yes yes yall. Finally found a decent Wago. It hasn't been driven in years, it's just been sitting behind some guy's shop. It is in dire need of some work. I threw a battery in it and tried to get it going but no luck. I don't think my fuel pump is working, I can't hear it kick on with the key anyway. I ran out of sunlight to do any digging into it though. Here are a couple poor pictures. But you get the idea.

    Awesome find.

Hint for the main fuel relay... give the dash a thump.

    At your own risk.

Yeah, so I replaced the main relay with a known good one. No F'n luck. Must be the fuel pump. I just did one on my sedan a couple months ago and am not looking forward to doing one on the wago.

It's an RT, you'll at least be able to check everything's in order via the penal under the back seat.

Yeah, I didn't realize that this thing had an access panel under the seat. That is so nice. I got to looking at it and thought to myself "shit, I have to pull all of the rear drive stuff out to drop this tank" Luckily, came in and did a little searching on HCW and found out about that panel. This place is kick ass. haha

Edit: Got the new fuel pump in and started it up. Threw some sea foam in with the decade old gas that was in it. It ran rough as heck for a bit then cleaned up and is now running like a champ! I am so stoked to finally be a member of the EE fam.
  • Nice find! Lets see some pics of her cleaned up

Hey guys, I need some advice. When I purchased this car the seller had lost the title so he didn't have that in hand. That was fine, we signed a bill of sale and then I went to the DMV to get some other paperwork (seller certificate, stuff for duplicate title) and got all of that taken care of. Come to find out, it has a salvage title on it. Not too happy, and not content putting any money into a car that, in the end, really won't be worth much to anyone else and will not make me happy knowing that.
So, my question is, what do you guys think I should do? Sell it as is or part it out? I really don't know what to ask for it, or for the parts as I am pretty new to the wago scene and honestly am having a hard time finding parts with prices to even start with. The car is complete minus right side front door glass. It also needs a new pass fender and corner light. Other than that it is all there.
    Thanks for any input fellas.

Edit: also needs right side headlight.

Does it drive straight? How much do you want for it

Honestly, it's how much the car means to you, not anyone else. That is, unless you were planning on flipping it

Yeah man, the thing runs and drives like a champ. And I didn't buy it with the intention of selling it. But, like all of my cars I have owned in the past, one day I will sell it I'm sure. Every time I've come across a nice car that I was ready to buy and then found out it had a salvaged title, that ended the deal for me. It is just a turnoff for buyers and, likewise, a turnoff for me to mod it. I bought it with the intention of modding it and enjoying it but now I have no interest doing anything to it. Meh, I don't know. I've got some guys on local forum that want to buy it as is. That's probably the route I'm going to end up going.
  • Here are some more pics of the wago and its damage.

Drivers side looks fairly decent. Little bit of rust in the rear quarter but not bad at all.

Passenger side needs headlight, corner light, fender and both doors have pretty decent size dents but are probably usable. I also need front door glass.

Roof...I don't even know what to do about that. It is pushed back out but it is all kinds of f'd up.

And the ass end. Best looking view of the car.

I wish I had some body work experience so that I could do something on my own instead of having to worry about paying someone if I want to fix it. I might give it a shot on my own, we'll see. It can't look much worse I don't think.
Let me know what you guys think.
  • dunno, how much help
    can you get...
