Look at the pics on H-T of IA...it's like a virus! I'll post a build thread.

OP: /threadjack. Look at my member's rides thread, pebbles', revmaynard's to name a few. i prefer to use some kind of stock rail and then buy rack hardware to match. Used Kia Sportage rails and Yakima towers on mine, but was more pleased with my wife's Aerostar rails. FWIW, I don't care for the way the Q-towers clamp on the doorjamb behind the weatherstrip.

    To summarize:

Junkyard side rails, throw away the crossbars
    Ebay or craigslist Yakima parts(thulesux)

Thanks for the info bab-bam. Love the wagon/camper. I've been looking at building a teardrop camper but your creation is much cooler. A build thread would be great.
  • i just put the rear seats down & put the bike in the hatch

i once managed to put 4 bikes in it.. it was a proud moment lol
  • yeah.... I use a Thule rack with fork mount trays... then toss the wheel or wheels on the wheel mounts... I have an OEM just collecting dust
