i personally think they are the best. kinda spendy. but every pair is made at the same time. every one is hand made and hand tested also they are the only company that i know of that has a three year warranty. i work at car toys and they had to prove to us that they are better then mbquart so we could pick them up. focal came with there entry level gear demo car and blew out mbquart's car out of the water.
i can make pods it should take about three days to make. depending on what you want to cover them in. i would like to do carpet just for ease of covering but i can sand smooth for paint/texturing. im trying to guess on the price so shoot me an offer. buyer will pay for shipping.
so today my boss gave me the original sales receipt. it was bought locally in town. the cost on the vehicle was $11,985.00 for 60 months at 250ish a month. crazy, even better the dealer drove it from Canada cause his mom couldn't drive a stick.
hopefully nothing is bent or broken, and you can just line up the timing and go.... Probably run better too, as timing belts don't usually just snap, they usually stretch out quite a bit first...
So you probably had pretty flakey timing beforehand...
well after a long day i got the timing belt alt belt and ps belt done. the only bad thing is my cheap gear puller broke the crank shaft pully. but thanks to the pick and pull and twenty dollars later its all good. on the list now is to install my speaker pods, front and rear speakers.
got the stereo speakers and pods in to day!!!!!!!!! ill have picks of the pods later today. the engine is running good but i think im off by a tooth. its slow to start but when going runs like a champ, just ran out of time i guess its going to wait till next week.
Damn dude all your pictures aren't working besides the speaker pod ones. But its good to see some people from Vancouver too. Who knows we probably have some some mutual friends haha. I only know the basics of working on cars but if you need some manpower I'll be glad to help. Hopefully I'll be getting a wagon soon too.
just throwing it out i am thinking about selling my wheels and tires for swap money. let me know, throw out offers. the are enkie rpo2 with brand new tires. less then one thousand miles on them. two have like curbs on three spokes and lips. really easy to repair, i got a quote of sixty dollars a wheel for repair.
hey heads up im doing a molded sub box on my drivers side. its going to mold into the speaker pod and be all fiberglass. ill have some pics up tomorrow night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well the car is leaking oil from the typical places ie front and rear main seals. so after some weeks of gathering parts and an engine im finally getting it started. nothing cool d15b7 but hey its a daily driver so no big swaps for now. ill keep you posted
