Blower doesnt work

My blower motor doesnt work on my 88 RT4WD, i put a new switch in, but still nothing...

any way to hard wire it??

SiWagon mentioned that there is a resistor unit under the passenger side of the dash which controlls the motor and when this fails the fans either won't work at all or will only work on certain settings.

I hit a hard bump yesterday and mine started working again... LOL!

my old 91 2wd, only 3 and 4 worked, but i saw wires going up by the fan, wasnt sure if it was for that, but i assumed it was...

where can i get a new resister from? and what is all needed?

The best place is at the junkyard.Just remove the resistor panel as a unit OR a resistor & solder it in to the place of the broken 1.

hmm, anyone has a pic of this thing? or a detailed description of where it is?!

The resistor is really just a coil of wire.If say your #1 resistor is burned.You can use the resistor from #2.#1 then will run a hair bit faster,but you'll never notice it.

well yeah i know how a resistor works, and how to change that... but where is this resistor panel?

im assuming it is NOT the whole climate control...
