UCA's gone bad? how to tell.

how can i tell if my upper control arms/ball joints are toasted?

    jack the car up uncer the LCA grab the top of the tire and push and pull. if u jack it up from the jock point it may not slop around becasue theres weight hanging off the UCA when the suspension is hangin. mine were so bad at one point while it was on the ground i could grab the tire and make the upper ball joint clunk..... needless to say i changed then out emmedietly.

    i jacked the car up and wheel off. hit the top of the upper ball joint with my hand and it made a clunk. i guess it's bad, it squeaks and crunches sometimes too.
