Installing distributor O ring

Hi all,
Can anyone walk me through how to install a new distributor o ring? I have the Haynes Repair Manual but I couldn't follow it too well.

    Remove three 12mm bolts, pull dsitributor out of the head, remove old o-ring, replace with new o-ring, re-install distributor, tighten three 12mm bolts.

    I would mark where the distributor and head meet to keep your timing where it is and don't worry about throwing the timing off 180 'cause the distributors only go in one way. You will know what I'm talking about when you try to re-install the distributor and it doesnt slide all the way in.
