JP's 1990 Honda Civic Wagon .... The Chicagoland "Wagon"
JayPee_inc
Band Wagon
hey everyone!
I am JP, im from the NW burbs of Chicago, and this is my Wagon.
I bought it about 2 weeks ago from my grandpa. He was the original owner, and kept it in real good condition. He documented all the service work he had done to it, as well as every gallon of gas he put into it. I was amazed when he told me this, and even more impressed when he showed me the book he kept it all in. I cannot believe how organized he was with this car.
He was getting rid of the car because he wanted a new car that he didnt have to worry about, so he was going to trade the Wagon and his Toyota mini van in for a new Honda Fit. Luckily he asked me if i wanted it before he traded it, otherwise who knows where it would've ended up.
The car is in very good shape thanks to all the work put into it. The engine runs very strong, and will continue to do so considering the car only has 152,xxx miles on it. It does need a few things, basic wear and tear items like bushings and gaskets, and also i think the struts are blown. Good thing i work at a Honda dealership so i can get parts at cost, and do all the work myself.
There is a bit of rust along the running board area and the wheel wells, but nothing that is unrepairable. I do hope to take care of the rust and get the car in a 'like show' condition.
but anyway, enough talk. on to the pics.....
These were the day i got it, picking it up from his house.
a pic i snapped driving it home on 294 of the Chicago Skyline
