my grocery getter rt4wd build

ive been on here for a little while...ever since i bought my wagon ( 1989 rt4wd a/t ) i wasnt really planning on doing anything i actually signed up so i could get some info on the engine/drivetrain...my main build is actually a 90 ef sedan and i just picked this up for a dd and 4wd for winter..but after seeing all of your wagons i just cant resist....so here it is so far....mostly just cosmetic not really goin crazy for performance.....not yet  ...got alot of parts coming in so ill try to keep it updated...

main mods
jdm zc swap
new radiator (stock)
new exhaust (stock) w/ chrome tips
power steering pump removed and looped (i didnt have bracket or pump or the money at the time so out it went)

i apologize ahead of time for the crappy pics they were with my cellphone....didnt really know how to enlarge them

How hard was it to pull apart those lights? I've been thinking of spraying the highs on my OEM's but don't want to mess with cutting the seal if its a PITA ya know... If thats how you even do it, I imagine after removing the metal clips around the glass you just razorknife around until the glass comes off.

i used a heat gun to soften it all the wway around and then just pulled them off but oem ones might take lil bit longer cuz my aftermarket ones use cheap glue...my buddy did his oem ones and swapped out the lenses to ones like mine...i think he said he put them in the oven for like 10 15 min ....just make sure you taake off any rubber or softer plastic before doing that...

What I meant is, are they glass lenses? I know some aftermarket projectors use plastic lenses that seem to be very cheap.

I'm running 3K bulbs for the high beams.. pure sexxy yellow! They give the headlight a yellow glow during the day, then at night they are awesome!

Thats a sick wagon yo! I use the oven trick to take apart my lights. Never though to use a heat gun. Are you going to shim the back to get the camber back to stock?

i actually have the rear adj camber kit but i was too lazy to adjust it since my other rims im puttin on are 15x8 and alot lower offset so ill just adjust it then

those headlights look sick dude. i have been debating on getting aftermarket projectors cause of bad previous experiences with them involving them always falling off of the adjuster mount, three sets later... done right they look awesome.
so where in CT are you?
