Attn. NorthWest Members - Junk Yard?

I'm itchin' to go to a junkyard and see what I can find.

Trouble is, I've been to one in Woodinville, WA and it's parts request only :( . And I can't seem to locate one via the web that explicitly states you can walk the yard and pull parts.

Does anyone know of any junkyards in the Puget Sound area that are self serve?

  • If you find something let me know, my island only has two parts yards, only one is open on the weekends and everything it has is stripped already.

I know down here we have 6 u-pull-it yards withing 60 miles of salem. All but one have wagons (I checked last week) as for if there stripped or not I have no clue. I hear there are a few pull-its around portland but I can never get a straight answer when I ask about wagons. If your looking for small parts just tell me. im going out every few days trying to get my power door mod goodies.

There's a whole bunch of junk yards in kent, wa but idk if they have any wagons. Cars get crushed and rotated daily so you reeally have to be lucky to find one, especially for the awd. Junk yard is off of the exit AFTER the central ave exit on freeway 167. Budget (junk yard) is the best cause you can walk onto the lot and find what you need. I always sneak me a bag of bolts. =) and search for treasures haha

You can also go to ef-honda.com to get parts. I always find someone doing a wagon part out on that forum. btw what are you looking for?

Thanks for the info., man. Other than rear mud-flappers, I'm not looking for anything in particular. I just enjoy the thrill of the hunt - like a swap meet - and literally spending money on junk I don't need  I have three other rides that I can seek-out parts for also.

ok Kent junk yards are good for newer body's from EG's to EK's... there are ef's but mostly hb's and sedans.... for wagons our best bet is to go to pull a part in lynnwood, evertt and tacoma... i've gotten front seats from the lynnwood pull a part... but very rear to see wagons...

really? whats all left on the car though...? dont want to drive up there just for a shell...
  • I Was up at pull-a-part in Lynwood today. They dropped an Ontario blue 2wd wago in the yard when I was there - '88, I think - two screws in the front turn signal lens. Pretty clean with a straight body.

The other wago there mentioned above is pretty well picked-over. Right front door and right front fender still there in good condition. Both rear doors are on it but someone busted the glass frames trying to remove the 1/4 glass. Good for skins though.
  • yup yup yup an 1988 manual all wheel drive wagon @pull a part in lynnwood
