B-series intake ID question

My engine ('92 OBD1 B18A1) has this big fat ugly intake manifold

It's from an automatic car, so it even has (or had) EGR. I've looked around and been told to get a later model LS mani ('94-'96 i think?) like on B18Ctom's car. I traded for this one today:

I know it will bolt up, what I'm wondering is whether I need anything else parts-wise. I got it with the support brace and all(it's different), so that's ok.

It has the MAP sensor on the TB, I can just plug in the same wire from the present remote one? NO FITV...? no biggie?

So is this the intake I want? I'm not sure exactly what engine it came from, the guy i got it from didn't either.

i say, if it works, be happy and leave it alone

wait, did i just say that...!?

In this picture inside the yellow circle, there are some numbers cast into the manifold. What do they say? That should tell us what manifold/engine this is.

I tried replaying last night but the forum was acting crazy.

Any specific shots you want of the intake manifold?

B18xxxx: that works, just wanted to compare visually- I just noticed mine's not drilled for IAT sensor?

Yeah yours is an OBD2 IM due to the lack of IAT and the throttle body lacking the fast idle thermo valve.

The IAT is located in the actual intake tube itself on the OBD2 Integra, and for some reason they also lack the FITV as well - my B18C5 doesn't have one, but it's never presented any problems. I run an OBD1 reprogrammed P28 with it and the fast idle circuit works as usual, etc.

    BTW:

If the lack of an FITV bothers you then simply run whatever TB you want to that has one on it. Again my C5 has never had one and it's ran fine for 8 years now.

So does this mean it won't work, or can I use the IAT in the inlet duct? (will it work with OBD1) I don't care about the fitv- less is more in that department, and it's purely mechanical so the ECU won't care.

Alternately, do you know where I can get an OBD1 ('94-'95?) intake?

If you've got a stock rubber intake tube then it's as easy as extending the two wires for the IAT plug and punching a hole in the intake tubing, then using any OBD2 IAT sensor as they have no ears for the two phillips screws - they literally just stick into a hole in the stock OBD2 intake tubing.

...or you could source an OBD2 Integra RS/LS/GS/SE intake tube.

    :o

It came with the intake tube and sensor, but visually I wanted... well i wanted to copy you  Really, I like the clean look. If you'll notice, the oBD2 one flares at the TB end, has some humps and knobs here and there, etc.
I'll probably just wait :| since I just want to change it for clean looks, may as well have what I want.
