Rear Fog Lights

So i installed a rear fog light today, what a PITA!!!! I had to cut my main bumper(steel) Maybe i did something wrong. Any comments?

I think thats what it is needed to install them. Did you have the metal mounting bracket or just the plastic bucket??

you have to cut the metal. you did it right

the EDM (and JDM???) bumpers have no metal frame like us :shock: its basically just a rubber cover

I have the whole fog setup, including the metal brackets. Guess i didn't realize the metal cutting part(cut the metal support for the bumper) until I got balls deep in it. Was going to do a write up, but not enough time to take pics and do a step by step.
How do people run their lights, one's with no switch?

I guess that explains why the rear fog wasn't sold in the USDM.

That and it has never been a requirement to have them here.
