My new wagon...

New Wagonist
New is more like "new to me" I guess. This one is up for sale, but I will up the price when I clean it up and clean the carb out.
77 Civic CVCC wagon, bought it for $250! Didn't want to see it go to the junkyard so I paid the guy what the Junkyard was giving him for it and grabbed it. At the very least, I can part it out and send what's left to the junkyard but I would rather see it go to somebody who can use it.

Dont say that!
You might as well get a hooker and cut her kidneys out lol
Also sounds like a plan. Whats a drugged up kidney go for on the black market these days?
I love these cars, but honestly, this one is more work than I would want to do if I were keeping it. I would be well on my way to a full restoration by now. I would like to send it to a good home once I drain the 2 year old gas out of it. Maybe I'll drive it a couple of weeks and make sure everything is sorted but living in an apartment my space is limited.
it started out like this..
If I get it running and I think it would be reliable enough (it would) I would drive it as far as Atlanta. Hell, I might even just make the whole trip. Haven't been to Savannah since St. Patty's day!
Tell you what. If I still have it in March, I'll drive it down if you promise to buy it!
That is definitely worth keepin' and restorin' !!
hold on to it and clean it up.
could post more of the engine mods if you had one.
wagon........................4ever.................
I believe at the time of this picture, that car had a DOHC ZC with some Nitrous in it, and NSX brakes up front with Prelude rear discs. I think he ended up swapping it to a B-series later down the road. My '80 wagon had a ZC in it,-fast as hell! It's actually kinda funny that on the 80 wagon, the CRX Si brakes bolt right on, and the d-series axles fit perfectly in the hubs. Or was it the '80 axles fit the D-tranny?
Keep a eye out for hondatuning in the nxt few months, I had a photographer come up from cali in sept and do a photoshoot on 6 1st gens
I got the 77 running today-started right up after we cleaned the starter up a bit. Seriously, less than .5 seconds of cranking before it started up and was idling!
Love the car!
Yes he is. Justin and I are very familiar w/ ea other from the 1G boards. Mine is currently at Adam Malley's shop being blown away for paint, then prepped for a carb'd and boosted (RayJay) Eb2/Eb3 setup.
I guess, but I want to make sure it's at least roadworthy before I do. Mostly, I just want to drive it a few miles 8)
Right now I'm taking a break from draining all the old fuel out of her, then I'm going to see if the fuel pump is working right, then try and figure out if the carb is tuned correctly. After that I'm troubleshooting the brake system(think there is a leaking wheel cylinder). It has some rust in the rockers and the front valence, but other than that there is not a single dent on the body anywhere!! It would have been a shame to see it in a wrecking yard...
Dang an old RayJay kit? That is a nice find! You should have a little screamer on your hands once Adam is through with it!
Once I taught the parts store worker the difference between 1/4" and 5/16" fuel line, it took about 10 minutes to put her back together and started RIGHT up!
Now I just have to figure out how to turn off that damn ignition buzzer once the car is running. That could get annoying FAST!
Congrats... Saw this wagon on this month's issue of Honda Tunning!
