the guy i bought it from , said it came on every now and then , when i first picked up the car it never came on , he also said it might be the switch on the auto stick
my car is runnin pretty strong for only havin 160xxx miles , i only run 80mph twice a day for about an hour and a half , i also have a pretty bad issue with my e-brake not wantin to release , any thoughts on that?
ok , here we go..........when i have it in park and i pull up the e-brake , it stays no problem , but when i start the car back up and go to leave , it is almost like i have a wheel chock behind the tire , i proceed to give it a lil gas and on one side in the back will kinda pop and settle then the other rear will do the same , then it goes fine

could be a faulty sensor
didnt it occur when you bought the car ?
did i say hi ?
: )
i would check the knob on the shifter
i had that also when i blew my headgasket
: )
we have the same gearbox ...
but then again i was cruising an average 90 mph for almost 4 hours
on a hot day ... and yes, the kickdown will take it to 6000+ rpm
: )
if it also occurs when you use the pedal, i would be worried ..
sorry ...
if you could be more specific about not wantin to release ...
furthermore i have a really bad english technobabble ...

shoe - replacement ?
if braking does not feel feel like it should, it could
be master cylinder
i'll start cleaning aft breaks...easy and cheap
if that does not work, go to front calipers
but that is a different story, pistons and such
sure i will be missing a point here or there ...
take your pick

summertime btw
you think, -could have a rusty cable, not very common
if you're a lucky you, it just could be a cable adjustment
