window visors for wagon

many say accord wagon visors fit with mode, for the front. the back fit without mode. So my question is will the front window visors form 88-91 civic sedan fit? some said it fit. just want to make sure.
what brand do you recommend beside OEM? too hard to get a hold of OEM visors.

24 viewer still no answer :?:
  • so you noticed its a delicate situation ...

i myself tried, on serveral occasions, to buy visors ...
all wrong (non-oem), i dont like the oem : )

still hunting, personally im looking for the 'snap-in' version(s)
no clip, screw or tape, just a small edge of plastic ...

    EDIT:
oem are for sale on ebay $155 buy it now ex $35 shipping
    End time: Nov-25-08

any other band of window visor that you would recommend beside oem.
saw some cheap one on ebay, but I don't think it's gonna last that long.
  • i prefer climair
    wind deflectors
Honda Civic (Shuttle) 5 door 1988 on ...
    a pair weighs about 2kg
only 2 distributors in the states
there is also a sunroof deflector from this brand
my best guess is around $80

  • ohwell,

i might buy a set, electrickery sunroof, airco,
you know ... no need ... yet

i have a set on my other car, and except for the tiny sticker,
very easy to remove, those are the best i've ever seen ...
easy fit in about 10 seconds
and i know the oem ...

but nobody asked my opinion... no ?

bump because i want some too.

the accord 4 door are seemingly available, but have not been able to clarify if the accrd 4 door sedan ones will work. i know the accord WAGON ones will, with a bit of trimming/modding, but wondering if the sedan ones will.

    BUMPPPPP
  • my bad...

is the closest thing i could find right now, but it was another website...
    copy and paste in address...

    Merged topics, thread already exists.

    Also see: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8573

Note: it can be called a wind shield or wind deflector and many other things.

but this is in regards to accord visors being used on a civic wagon. not requesting an OEM fit/new mol;d from weathertech or whatever....

I have modified vent visors.. had to add about 1 1/2" at the front/back.. they are for the EF 4drs.

Look pretty good to me! Little ingenuity goes a long way.

How did you just magically add an 1 1/2" to the visors?

    spot on.
Climair is based in Germany, but has a branch in the UK. not sure if they are willing to ship international, but its worth a shot.
this is the website for the UK. however, they only have the fronts.

  • They sell them here in Germany as well. I found a place that has them in stock. I am considering buying a set and seeing if they are the correct ones but not sure if I want to drop 100 bucks on just fronts at the moment. My wagon won't be seeing much outside time even when it is finished.

are the modified vent visors more expensive than the regular plug-in ones? i might also try modifying one for my honda '92, my project car.
  • Please forgive my ignorance:
I see all the jdm cars with these window visors and they are sought after items I know that.
Is there any real benefit to having them?
  • Yes. There is. ;)

I removed mine and threw them in the Bin as they irritate me no end.

But if its raining it means you can have the window down slightly and not get wet, I just get wet instead
