power door lock wiring

sup fools. alright so i have been installing power door locks in my car for the past 7 hours. everything is in now its just left to the wiring.

the two rears only have two wires coming out of them, yellow/red and white/red. the drivers door has four, which all go into a door lock control box, anyways the only PDL wires coming from the drivers door are yellow/red, white/red and white/yellow.

the passenger door only has 2 i think, also same colors. anyways. so i am assuming that the two wires that are the same color all connect together. right?

and i assume the white/yellow wire from the box is the power source. right?

also there is an empty slot in the fuse box for power door locks... but i have no clue how to wire those into there.

i hooked the colors up and what not and hooked the white/yellow wire to another one but there is no reaction at all.

so anyways, the few of you that have done this.. can you give me insight? btw i used all OEM wire harnesses, etc.

can anyone link me to a sedan service manual that would have a wiring diagram?

yellow red(unlock output) white red(lock output) go to the motor wires white/yellow goes to 12v constant thru fuse #3 (20amp) ( you have to pull the fusebox and acess it from the back and add the wire )

I just added the same system to my 89 + oem 4dr pwr window regulators and switches :)

how do i add the wires to the fuse box? i am not doing power windows (changed my mind) because its just something else to fuss about haha.. anyways back on topic..

couldnt i wire the white/yellow just to another white/yellow? there was one coming from my stock door harness so i wired it to that but no go lolz.

anywho so yeah. how can i get that wire to the fuse box??

It just needs to have 12v on the wire to feed the doorlock module.

alright i got a contact :D now i just need to figure out why the motors dont seem to be able to unlock/lock the doors. they are weak, i guess... or something. only the drivers door works fine lolz.

    anyways yeah.

well i got all my door locks working good...

except along the way i think i fried something... my drivers auto belt doesnt retract. no matter what. the passenger side does, but the drivers is a no go.

can anyone point me to a wiring diagram of the seatbelt? i have been searching the web for the past 2 hours and cant ind anything :x this is really urgent, duh, as i cant drive my car like this :(

i checked all the fuses, they are fine. the power wire itself is not sending a current... so i hooked up a wire directly from the battery to the seatbelt power wire sensor thing and it still didnt do anything. maybe i fried the sensor? but why isnt the wire sending out current either? it looks perfectly fine, visually...

ALRIGHT!!! i answered my own question (again...) it was the sensor in the door lock. it obviously cannot take 12 V haha.. and toasted. so i just swapped it our with my stock one and added the power door lock actuator to it, and voila, seat belts work!!

alright. cool. now im happy :D
