The swaps I have in mind are later than '93, and the r134 I'm not too sure if it is better, but it's more convenient since you can buy it anywhere, freon is no longer being made and can only be put in by liscened professionals.
So it would be nice to have it, but thanks for the info
The most common way to have A/C with a B series swap is actually to keep the Civic compressor and use a custom adapter mounting bracket, such as the HASport one - Click HERE to see it.
I've got this bracket on my B18B Civic wagon with the Civic Sanden compressor.
So in essence it doesn't matter what system the Integra uses since you won't be using any of its parts.

I do remembering see that when I was researching swaps, the only problem is that my current a/c is broke
Trust me it's hell for a fat guy to go without a/c for a whole summer
you can release the hatch/cargo door, make sure it will stay, stays open for a couple of inches, enjoy the best airflow you'll ever experience, when lowering your window ...
R134 is better for the environment.. R12 is better for cooling though i belive.. You can use Johnsens Freeze12 with R12 and it will mix and blow nice and cold..

Been there.. try a 1st gen wagon.. with Leather.. drove to cali.. in sept..
The next time I do that... it's gonna have AC

Well it's much easier to replace your current compressor with a new/reman unit and still buy that bracket because if you try to run an Integra compressor you'd also have to figure a way to retrofit suction and discharge hoses, and the hard pipes would route differently, etc.
You're the reason i burn within 12 minutes of going outside. :P
haha glowbal warming is bs.
I don't buy into the entire global warming buzz, but...
Ozone layer is of a measureable quantity and the thickness of this layer is deteriorated in some places like south of New Zealand, just above the Antarctic.
How else can you explain burning in 12 minutes in 17 degree C heats?
They take like 40 minutes to burn in Australia and the temps are 20-40 degrees celcius.

I'd stick with the Civic-based system still.[/quote:51v97exf]
Thanks for the info, I figure I'll just ask which parts are broken so I can replace them whence I get the swap done this summer, assuming the economy doesn't take my job, retail stinks

No.R134 is less efficient unless the system was designed for it.
