Brake Warning Light Is On

My brake warning light on the dash came on today. I know it's not the emergency brake. The owner's manual I may need brake fluid or have a leak. I'm going to check the level and add some fluid if needed. What kind do I want? Where is a deal on it? What will it cost? How much should I buy?

    brake fluid is like... $3 for the big bottle.

    you need DOT 3.

    you dont need a lot. just a couple tablespoons to fill up the reservoir lolz.
