CD changer question.

ok so a friend of mine has a Koss 6 disc cd changer in his car. It came stock in his 1999 Jeep. Whenever we turn it on we put it to the station and theres just static then on the controller a error code comes up

e-06 is what it says.

we can't find any info on the cd changer or the error, a little tap in the ass for a score of right direction would be appericated.

It has to has a model number on it somewhere. That's where you start - or hop on the Jeep forums... maybe even email Koss directly (they will likely want a mode/serial number though).

theres not a model number ANYWHERE and i called koss they can't date all the way back to 2000 because they dont even sell cd changers anymore.

why would i post on a jeep forum when i have my loving brothers here?

...for the same reason you don't order BBQ at a Japanese restaurant.

The have year/model of Jeep, if it was standard equipment(or even an option), someone on a jeep forum probably knows the Koss model number.
