mirror removal(solved)

i have all the bolts off, however i can't figure out how to get the manual adjuster part to fit through that tiny hole...it's also 1am...i could just be missing something. help please.

    pop off that cover on the adjustment lever. inside there is a little itty bitty screw, remove that and the adjuster knob slides off. the mirror itself is held on with 4 screws.
