Any idea if an A/C compressor from a 2000 Civic fit? I have a 90 2WD. Curious because:

check part numbers on like hondapartsdeals.com or simply partsamerica.com to see if they match up.
  • The 90 Wagon 2WD part number is:
    38800-PM9-A01 COMPRESSOR WHOLE ASSY. (MATSUSHITA)
    38810-PM9-A02 COMPRESSOR ONLY (MATSUSHITA)

    And a 2000 Civic 4DR is:
    38810-P2F-A01 COMPRESSOR (SANDEN)
This part number pertains to 1996-2000 95 was a different number as well as 2001 being a diff number, and the plugs on the 1990 vs the 2000 are different too. Main thing that I see is the hardlines (high pressure side piping and low pressure side piping) on the AC aluminum lines, see where they enter in on the 2000, and on the 1990 they are not located in the same spot. Also the AC bolts are a little bit different too, although the bracket is what actually mounts to the engine couple of the holes are not in the exact same spot, to answer your question I would say no, since the plugs are different and the inlet and outlet holes on the compressor are in different spots, and the pipes cannot be bent to be relocated  Hope this helps
