Need some one to wire up my power windows in my wagon have drivers side working but cant figure out how to det the others working all wire is ran just need to be hook up right .
i pulled a power window motor/regualtor from a civic LX sedan and test fit it onto a wagon door, and its a straight bolt on. even the door handle with the door-lock switch and the door-lock control box have their own pre-fabbed spot on the door panels... anywho.
for wiring, why dont you try taking as much of the sedans wiring and "plugging" it into the wagon? its a big job, but PW and PDL aren't a small thing. i ripped out the entire dash of the parts Sedan trying to get the wires but it was 100 degrees outside and i eventually just said "screw it" but yeah. all the wires that run along the floor board and b-pillar are relatively easy to get. also use the stock wiring harnesses in the doors. they are all very easliy removable, and include PW, PDL and even power mirror (which i have, so thats an added bonus )
yea thats exactly what i did i sat at my local junkyard for hours trying to get the wiring harness out and went back a second time and its was just to difficult for me to get them all out its a bunch of shit but anyways i said fuck it and ran my own wiring and actually got the driver door worker but the other 3 i cant seem to wire them up right to work. But its the summer and i cant roll but one window down and it sucks and im willing to pay someone to do the job if they no what they are doing.
how did you wire the drivers door to work? are you going to try to have it setup so that you can control all the windows fro mthe main controller on the drivers door?
its pretty damn complex, lolz im not gonna lie should be all plug and play, seeing as the wagon has a spot for "power windows" in the fuse box.. as well as for a "power sunroof" wouldnt that mean its prewired??
hahaha its definetly not easy chief its not prewired i had to run my own wiring and you are right there is a place for the power window fuse holder off of the civic sedan that you can put right on the fuse box but you still have to tap into some other wires and thats what i dont know i did do the drivers but it kind off just came together and work i tryed i lot of different shit but yea i am trying to run all the windows by the main switch. But its not as simple as you think it is. Have you done it? Becuz give me some pointers i really am tired off not being able to let my windows down if i knew i was going to be this difficult to hook them up with out the sedan wiring harness than i would have never even done this shit.
i havent done it yet, but i plan to do it eventually.. i'll MOST defnitly do a write-up when it comes my turn :P but like i said, its gonna be a while... think end of the year. :? sorry
thanks man ill look that up and see if it can tell me something. I would advise everyone just to get the whole civic sedan wiring harness im sure it would have been a whole lot easier if i would have just done that.
Yea in my haynes manual there is a diagram for the power windows but its to hard for me to read there are no wire colors its just not specfic anough for me to read i have tryed looking for different diagrams but still havent seen one.
dudddde you have just made my fucken day i defiantly should be able to hook them up now with this diagram so im going to give it a try and let you guys know how it worked out thinks a lot man. I wish i would have asked yall sooner.
yea my cars been down for a few weeks now because my motor locked up, I ordered a Dohc zc from tiger Japanese and when it was ship here it was all fucked up the disturbtor cap was broken, crank pulley, intake manifold sensor, and timing belt cover so that really sucks plus they dont cover anything when its broken. So i would advise yall not to order from them they really are some dickheads up there. But im definitely going to be starting on the windows tomarrow.

mayb the best part 23-225 page 1163(pdf-index) troubleshooting...
