Where do I start?
edit:
also, how do i remove the dash, gauge cluster, etc. the whole front interior. (im taking it and having it re sprayed at a shop 100 obo for everything)

If I remember correctly there was plenty of good info in that post.
i searched, didn't see anything. that's why i posted.
send me a link :?:
first of all take out all the seats (duh), center and lower console. then pop out the plastic trim pieces on the bottoms of the door jam. the carpet is "pinned" to the bottom of these. there you will have to "unplugged" the carpet. same applies to it pretty much everywhere.. the carpet is just "plugged" into the floor. around the center console, i think you'll have to also remove the metal support that hols the radio housing, HVAC and such. anywho. nothing really crazy. its quite easy
as far as the dashboard goes... i'd like to know as well how to remove it. the gauge cluster is super easy. there ar two screws holding it on in the back and two ont he front of it. to get to the back screws you have to pop up these plastic covers. the front is exposed, just search for it. once these 4 screws are taken out the cover will come right off.
i got the gauge cluster out
but the housing around it is plug and play, but one of the plugs my monster hands cant get off its the one for defrost. haha, so basically i cant get it off.
as far as the rest goes
i noticed theres screws near the floor that connect to the dash on the drivers side that need removing. and a few if you pop off those little things that snap in.
im not at home so i cant check my car to see what you are talking about referring to the screws in the dash... but, like i said, i dont know what it takes to remove a dash. haha...
and what do you mean use a screw driver? details, please
ive tried staring at it really hard if that helps.. :P
haha, the staring technique only works on girls. anyways....
like, take a flat head screw driver to push on the clip thingy that holds the plug to the back of the defrost switch. the plug will just slide out then.
man i cant believe you tried for 2 hours. haha, dedication!!
i couldnt see good enough last night but thats a thing that needs pushing down and its wedged in between the defrost and the light thing i wedged the flat head in there to push down the clip and it pushed out.
off-topic.. im so damn bored. give me something exciting to do. i have to sit on campus till my next class at 5 :x
but dude as far as the dash goes
it's all connected.. i removed a bolt near the front windshield near the top pop off the plastic it's a 10mm bolt remove it and about 3 screws and the entire dash pulls out,
you have to remove the steering wheel.
dude, i dont know how.
i wanna si steering wheel, what year would fit?
to take off the steering wheel you simply pop off the H emblem then inside there is one 19 mm bolt. unbolt that and the steering wheel slides right off
so you going to get some of your own carpet and put it in? i guess just making sur you cut it to specs, then use the same bits and pieces to pop it into place.
what color is your interior right now?
What kind of material should I be looking for?
