Found a way to fix rust on the rear quarter panels..

Remove the rubber strips along the rear fender at the tire area..

All it does is rub the paint down and holds water, then that leads to rust, and lots of it.

    They can lead to rust, but most of the serious honda rust I've seen seems to start from the inside and gradually bubble out the paint. I tried to remove a bubble that didn't look serious on my hatch and ended up with a hole. There was a whole ton of dirt/grit on the inside of the 1/4 panel where the rust was and all the metal around this rusted area was good as new.
