  • Good info!! I would have guessed that you would need to drop the tank like you do in every other 88-91 civic.

you can access the fuel pump in this manner as well in the hatchback and sedan, you just need to upbolt the lower seat cushion...
  • Isn't that the cover for the fuel tank sender ?
On my 4wd I have two covers. See the round section of body to the left and up of that which has four indentations ?
that's where the second cover is on my shuttle and the fuel pump is under that cover.

On the CRX you have to drop the tank, you can only remove the sender unit. I figured the hatch and saloon were the same unless they have the two openings?!?

ahhhh ok! so that is just the sender unit.. fuel pump is under that goofy + symbol... so only 4wd had a cover for that?
  • You guys got PGMFI on the 2wd ?
We only got a D16A6 on the 4wd.
The 2wd was a 1.4 twin carb car.

    our 2wd got fuel injection..

    USDM 2WD = D15B2, dual-port PGM-FI

    USDM 4WD = D16A6, multi-port PGM-FI

is it an EDM (JDM??) thing only to have a second cover over the tanks on the 4WD? i thought the 2WD and 4WD shared gas tanks... so that would mean the USDM 4WD didnt have the second covers... or?

    USDM 4WD guys, chime in!
