sportmax 15 x 8 wheels

will those rub hella bad up front with a drop? and if so where can you get a set of 15x7 for front and 15x8 for the rear?

you talking about the 501's or the 002's?

with the 501's you have 15 offset which will still rub like HELL, you will have to roll your fenders.

the 002's have 0 offset, which is literally undrivable without a massive fender roll.

you can get either the 501s or 002s in 15x7 and 15x8 with offset 38. the 002 15x7s look somewhat different then the 15x8 0 offsets. the 501 15x7 looks the same as the 15x8, except that it has less lippage... duh.

yeah i was talking about the 501's and i just want em since the lip is so damn huge and slammed with a fender roll will look fucking ill. i was looking at the 16x8's as well.....when you get a set you should let me know the offsets and tire sizes and everything so i can get a better idea.

Good luck but here is a pic of some 16x8's with a 0 offset to give you an idea of how much is going to stick out. This is with the car jacked up. I kind of wish I would have had tires on the wheel to get a real look at what it will look like but some fender work will still be needed.

Could you give me the exact specs of those wheels & tires? Also would those by chance work on my wagon? I can get another set of fenders & roll those. Would I have to roll the rear too?

Sportmax (XXR) 501

-specs-

-they come in:

15x7 et 38
15x8 et 15
16x8 et 15

tire for the 15's are more then likely 195/45/15

for the 16's they are most likely 195/40/16 or 205/40/16


-fender roll-

yes you would have to roll the rears too


and finally YES they will work with the wagon. infact, soon as i sell my other set of rims imma be getting some of these

I'm a newbie when it come to offset no matter how many times I google and read what's are the offsets, I still tend to forget.

Anyways waggy's what offset should I'll be looking for?

Whichever offset fits your taste.

If your wanting your wheels to poke, outside of the fenders, then those xxr's +15 will do the trick. If not, that wheel is available in a HIGHER offset which will tuck under the fender.

Heads up on the sportmaxx wheels, I have a set red 002 16" ET38 on my EK. My drop is about 7-8 cm and no rubbing at all. But the paint quality is very poor, I have them for about a year now and the wheel who's in the sun when the car sits on the driveway is turning orange. Also balancing the wheels proved to be a bitch.

Maybe someting to consider when wanting to buy them. I heard Drag wheels are better. But I can't confirm that.

haha hell ya. i wanna get some but i dont wanna roll the rear fenders.
and i dont mind rolling the fronts, just dont want it to stick out and look like ass.

here are a few pics of mine on my wagon and its not to bad to fit them.and i just rolled the front finders and the rears are stock i HAVE NOT TOUCHED THEM AT ALL.

205 50 15 for now but get some 195 45 15 down the road

i ordered a set of 15x8 zero offset 002's that should be here tomorrow.
gonna put them on a EF sedan and slam it. ill get pics up when its all done.

alright here is a teaser. a little camber in the front and perfect in the rear. im all the way down on my PIC's too. no fender rolling at all.

Have you tried to drive it like that yet? It looks like every time you hit a bump you are going to rub.

no its just a test fit. i know they will rub like crazy as it sits.
i jhust wanted to see how it looked if i just put them on without doing anything.
i should have the fenders rolled today and cambered as well. just waiting on lug nuts to do this.
