exactly how bolt-up is an 86-87 d16a1 to a 3rd gen?

im already set on doing the carb to fi conversion, so i know ill at least need a gas tank, fuel lines & fuel pump, plus a complete engine/wiring harness, but its not a problem. i just need to know about any mounts ill need (tranny or otherwise), or any other misc.parts i need for it to work. i already read the effinmotorworks article, but that was a rt4wd wagon with a carb'd zc, mine is 2wd going from carb to fi. the 86-87 d16a1 ive heard is a logical choice for a 3rd gen, and im pretty sure the decision is final.

I think davens did & there is another guy on here who did the mpfi conversion I believe but as far as the bolt up it should use the same mounting points

the d16a1 drops in very simple. You use the integra rear tranny mount and then the pass side front tranny mount you use from your wagon and the front motor mounts you use from your wagon <The stock 1.5 mounts> Thats pretty much it. it just fits from there. you have to use the d16a1 tranny and knuckles for the axles.

bigorange how did you go about doing your carb to fi swap? did you just switch the fuel pump and main line, or switch the tank altogether?. if you switched the tank and lines from an oem honda, which ones did you use?
