right around 2K, near as I can tell... but that includes a parts car, 3 extra trannies, tax, tag, smog....quite the money pit, no? :roll:

got most of it at REI. towers were discontinued, bought display model, friend gave me the fairing, etc.

Rail is from a Kia, and I really like the rack, but I wouldn't go that route to get Yak mounted again. Had to modify the mounts to fit:



track type base rack would be much slicker, I think

question: does anyone know what to use to cut this material? I'm guessing it's polycarbonate? I need to trim about 3" from each end. I think a bandsaw would work nicely, but I don't have one. Jigsaw maybe?

btw, i've seen about a 1.5ish MPG drop since adding the bike rack- that's been so far sans the fairing- interested to see if it helps...
