Pics of my 91 4wd Wagon

As I mentioned in the Newbie Garden section, I would post pics once I cleaned up my ride. Well, it's still dirty but here are photos that the previous owner sent me when I was looking at it back in the summer. Once I get some nice weather and am able to wash it, I'll try to post more pics. Anyways, here goes...
There is quite a bit of rust not shown in the picture. Looks like my father and I (or a local bodyshop) have a lot of work on our hands! Thanks for looking!

The previous owner is a self-confessed neat freak! he kept it as clean as if it just came off the showroom floor! Now if only I can do the same. My wife was always amazed at how dirty (inside and out) my CRX was and I was the only one who used it most of the time.
I like those wheels too! There's rust on them too! Just have to clean them up and possibly repaint them. Lately though my wife has been reading my issues of Honda Tuning and other mags and hinting that I should get new rims.
I'm hoping to be there at the Philly meet. It all depends of my kids' soccer schedules. I also have been kissing up to my wife now so that when it comes closer, she'll let me go out and play.
Good Luck with your wife letting you go.
So... I guess I'm lucky that my wife already owns a Civic ?? :P :P
She has owned her black '96 DX HB since new. Even with the 2 kids and the dog, it is still in great condition in and out, with just a hint of rust starting in the usual places (i.e. rear wheel wells). Now that I've proven to her my rust-repairing and painting skills on my '90 wagon, she is letting me repair the rust on her car before it gets any worse.
Cheers !!
And here's a photo of my 90 CRX in almost the same spot. I sold it to buy the wagon. I really should have kept it AND bought the wagon. I miss this car!
the back end of the wagon is generally a little bit higher, to make up for potentially added weight that would be placed in the trunk.
the weird thing about the front suspension is it came of a fwd wagon so i assumed it was stock... maybe not i guess. the rear suspension was already gone so i couldn't get it at that time.
and yes, it is tape. when i brought it in for inspection to a buddies friend's shop, he said said as long as he doesn't see the rust, it will pass. got red duct tape at harbor front for a quick rust "repair".
that's hilarious.
Anyways, on to the photos...
I've got my eyes on a couple of wagons for sale, both are manuals but one is FWD and the other is RT4WD. The FWD one has been sitting for three years and hasn't been run at all. The other one seems to be in very good condition but haven't heard back from the seller yet. Sounds like it might have been sold already though. The plan if I get the FWD is to transfer all my RT4WD stuff from my current wagon to the new one. If I get the RT4WD one, I'll put that on the road and fix the current one. But I guess I have to purchase one or the other first eh? Perhaps I'm thinking way too far ahead.
I wish it was still like that! With 5 boys in and out of it, it's become more family like! It's time for a good steam cleaning I think!
