  • That wagon is getting fixed by my friend. It is just a big mess.

Now for this tomorrow I'll be starting the installation of the power windows! Regulators first! Then wiring.
  • Got oem wiring harness from a 88-89 Ef sedan so I can hopefully plug and play!
  • 149.jpg

sorta got down to bussiness and put everything I have for the wiring together.
I have to find out if the regulators and wiring power!

So so I have oem rhd power regulators with oem Ef sedan wire harness.
So far all the colors match on the harness so putting the rhd front regulator on the left hand side is working just fine harness wise :)
  • Tested the regulators! They all work
say it isn't plug And play.
  • Any one have the oem sedan wire diagram for power windows?
  • Put on the rear regulators! Next is front with figuring out this wiring :)
  • no pix no care
  • I was too lazy to do the wiring.
I did other fun stuff. :)
  • Got the regulators working :)
    wiring was not that bad.
Ill do my best to show you all what I did
  • First thing was stripping the harness.

only wires I needed are the blue green and yellow. Each are for power and individual ground to the switch and to the fuse box.

then only connect the power not the ones that have black.

  • Yeah gotta go window motor hunting :) then the fronts will be good to go!
    Wiring is complete!
  • Got it all down.
    Time for AC! :D
  • Went through all my parts today! Geeze my wagon is going to be unique!
  • I helped lol

Heck yes! You got it all started! Still gotta come get those ground wires! Your wagon is next :)
  • Okay! So under the dash fuse box is where my power windows are. They are in the accessory option(slots 1and 3) which there is no current if car is not on the accessory position or running, that way mr. Battery does not die!
This worked at first! Now the accessory slots in the fuse box is not working. Any helping hands here for this topic? Or if you have run power windows before, where is your power source.

The windows work if it is hooked straight to battery option (slot 5)

is is there a relay I could have burnt out?
    No blown fuses!
  • I have been shopping around for paint and body!!! Look like it'll be happening around mid January! Yes yes yes!!!
Still need to decided on the shop but I have a few in mind! After paint it's all uphill ;)

still have the AC to put in! Waiting on the compressor!

Wish I could give you some help man but it's pretty damn hard(at least for me) to think into the situation purely by text.

Thanks!!! I know you would help!

I am am looking trust me
  • I have had a lot of help from people all over the globe, the excitement starts soon :)
body shop set up! And parts coming in!
  • Haven't been able to find front bumper, rear bumper, clear corner lights, or the quarter panels glass trimming unbroken!!
  • Progress!
    Kinda..
Got the AC mount bracket on the block, the evap and wire harness. I'm stuck now till the AC compressor arrives next week.
Hopefully after getting all this put together it'll work! I think it make it easier on me, ima pulling off the radiator....
  • Okay guys I have started the AC process so now all I need to put in is the AC compressor and the dryer. I'm confused about what to put first. I read online that the AC compressor needs four oz of oil, which I have. As for the dryer since it stops moisture from getting into the system I don't know if I should hook it up until everything else is hooked up what do you guys think? All the tubes are in place and everything is ready like I said the only thing left is the AC compressor and dryer. I'm just scared to open the dryer and then have it ruined.
  • Got the whole AC system in, but it is not activating. The switch might be bad so now I have to trouble shoot.
Alao started putting the interior back
    in.

Man you've been busy. Dumb question, but did you actually charge the AC system? Check it for leaks and such? I'm jealous of your AC system!

I havent got got the chance to charge it up
im preping for paint at the moment. The car was AC deleted from the factory. So I added it all to the car. I will check for leaks before adding anything to the stystem !

If I remember correctly, it won't engage if there isn't enough refrigerant in the system. Given that there is none, it won't engage.
  • Yes that's correct, there's a pressure switch. You can bridge that and test to see if the clutch turns on. I personally wouldn't try if the system is dry but i guess you could do it for a few seconds.

Okay! Nice to know! I'll go get some this weekend! Thank you!
I find that weird, is there a safety reason for that?

Not to blow the compressor I imagine.
