quick coilover sleeve question

I've had these Skunk2 sport struts and coilover sleeves on for a year now but I'd like to go about 1/2" lower in the rear of my RT. The adjusters are hitting the perch so i can't go any lower so in theory I thought maybe I can just remove one or both of the adjusters? If anyone has any ideas i'd be greatful, thanks.

ps: lets not turn this into a skunk2 bashing thread please, i'm happy with mine :)

Wouldnt want to remove the adjusters!! Already I imagine the springs are very very uncaptive and shocks are bottoming out. So going lower will just make it ride like shit and dangerous to drive

Dont take that as Skunk2 bashing as I had the same sleeves in my wagon and it was fine

I'm not that low really, the rear mudflaps are about 1/2" from the ground and the fronts are just above it. The rear sleeve threads sits inside the perch but the adjusters hit the perch so I can't adjust them lower.

Trim the perch down? Way less dodgy.

And get keeper springs and extended tophats to keep the springs captive

I can try trimming the perch that would be alot safer. Thanks for your help
