Oil Pan compatibility stock wagon motors

Okay, so this is what I know so far. Aftermarket drain plug has f-ed my pan up.

My engine is a D15B2, and these motors were found in 88-91 Civic GL/DX/LX, and 88'91 CDX DX, and the 2wd wagons. I know that the part number for my oil pan, courtesy of online parts retailers is the same as every single other wagon from 88-91, including the 4WD, so I know that my oil pan will also come off the D16A6, or D16Z2, according to Wikipedia and have similar source vehicles except Sis and EXs. But the online parts lists have a different oil pan part # for that motor.

And I found out that all the dipsticks have the exact same part number, so I don't need to be worried about not knowing my oil level.

Online research comes up with any D-motor pan will fit as long as the pick up gets swapped out too (typically referencing Z6 motors). Anybody have first hand knowledge or reliable source info different than I've found? My local yards in Olympia, WA have 0 wagons, and charge admission because I needed another reason to be angry, so I want to know for sure before I go in, that I'm headed for correct parts.

I realize that with the amount of research I've done, I've basically researched my way out of a question, but maybe this is a good first post for me and for others with questions about stock pan interchangeability.

You're right, you did answer your own question. Any D-series pan, just match the pickup.

The only snag with wagons is the relief in the pan to clear the transfer gear on the RT4wd models.
